Kirkland in-home and virtual newborn care

A Newborn Doctor in Kirkland Who Comes to You

Kirkland Newborn is a specialized newborn medicine practice based right here in Kirkland. We focus exclusively on the first weeks of life - the feeding questions, the weight checks, the 3 a.m. worries - with in-home and virtual visits led by a board-certified pediatrician who is also an IBCLC.

Pediatrician and IBCLC, in one visit

Care is led by a board-certified pediatrician who is also an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), so feeding support and medical assessment stay connected.

Why a newborn specialist

Most pediatric clinics see children from birth to age 18, and a standard appointment runs about 15 minutes. The newborn period is different. Feeding, sleep, weight gain, and recovery from delivery are deeply connected, and they rarely fit into a quarter of an hour. Our visits are built around the fourth trimester: longer appointments, one provider who already knows your history, and no waiting room with a one-week-old.

Care where you live

We serve all of Kirkland - Juanita, Finn Hill, Rose Hill, Houghton, Norkirk, Bridle Trails, and the Totem Lake area - with in-home visits, plus virtual consultations when a screen is enough. If you have just been discharged from a hospital birth or a birth center, we can be at your home within the first days, when the questions are loudest.

What we offer in Kirkland

Phase 1 care is built for the first days and weeks at home.

  • In-home newborn visits ($550) - a full, unhurried visit at your home, including feeding assessment and a newborn check.
  • Virtual consultations ($250) - same specialist care over secure video.
  • Lactation consultations - with a physician who is also an IBCLC, so medical questions do not need a second appointment.
  • Sleep consultations and equipment rental - including delivery to Kirkland addresses.

Looking ahead

Our Kirkland office is planned for 2027, which will add in-office procedures including frenotomy, also known as tongue-tie release, and newborn circumcision. You can join the waitlist for those services when procedure scheduling opens.
